Content Writers and Links

There are rules for everything--we all know that. The Internet is no different and that means that content writers need to be sure that they know where to put the links that they create, how many to use and which keywords are the best. None of this is happenstance.

Generally, it's a bad idea to stuff your copy with too many links. It looks spammy to Google and if you've got content that is just filler around some keywords and links, you might get the traffic to your site but not many conversions. Remember that it's one thing to get them to come to see what you've got, but quite another when there's nothing there but irritating text that's clearly crammed with keywords and links and no substance.

There is a style to it all. So many words equals so many links; a keyword very close to the beginning and one near the end. The good content writer knows how it all balances out.
